Sometimes life circumstances place limits on the time we can dedicate to weekly therapy appointments. EMDR Therapy Intensives is an effective evidence-based treatment modality that allows for a concentrated and accelerated treatment plan that is personalized to your specific needs and trauma history. EMDR Therapy Intensives allow you to process more information in a short period of time, are cost-effective, and create lasting change.
At Vida Counseling Inc., we offer 2-3 day EMDR Therapy Intensives that can be completed in a week or over a weekend. At this time, EMDR Therapy Intensives are done exclusively with Vanessa Areiza King, MFT. WHAT TO EXPECT
- 15 – minute consultation to address appropriate fit for EMDR Therapy Intensives
- Day 1 of EMDR Intensive will include the creation of an individualized treatment plan followed by 3-4 hours of EMDR processing
- Day 2-3 of EMDR Therapy Intensive treatment will follow with 3-4 hours of EMDR processing in the morning, followed by 3-4 hours in the afternoon for successful completion of the treatment plan. There will be an hour lunch break between the morning and afternoon sessions.
COST
There is a total cost of $1280 for a full 3-day EMDR Therapy Intensive treatment. You are charged by the half-day. Any half-day not used will not be charged. Once we begin a new half-day period in the EMDR Intensive treatment, you will be charged for the full half-day (3-4 hours).
